My Story

This site is the culmination of my work with the traveler since I first felt the inner call in 1984 to become an initiate and minster.

In 1986, after numerous Insight and MSIA trainings, I was called to go on PAT IV - literally called - heard voices, etc.  At that point, I had only taken PAT I in March, but based on the inner call, I signed up for the upcoming PAT II and III in Phoenica, NY, completed them in May and then went on PAT IV in the summer of 1987.

The next year, the day I was ordained, I was called to go on the upcoming Russia trip. I called to sign up and pretty much put down my deposit and figured out how to get ANOTHER month off work to go.  Later I heard that the trip was closed, but apparently not for me on that day.  So off to Germany, Russia, Finland and Sweden in 1988.

Back in the US after two trips in two years, I wound up leaving my job, moving around the country, traveling and found myself in Seattle.  One rainy April day I went to a local seminar.  The seminar leader played a tape from the first PAT IV, probably the travel to Assisi.  I remember a moment of total clarity about what I wanted to do, what I HAD to do - I was going to go to LA and work with the Travelers in support of their worldwide travelers.  By June of that year I was at the Conference in 1989 and volunteering at Esprit.  I joined the newly named Esprit Travel that summer and have worked on tours more or less continuously since then.

I believe strongly that the work that we ALL do as travelers has a profound impact on the world.  Each person who is called is brought forward to be part of a spiritual action in each tour.  Over the years I've seen the perfection of each action as it manifests through the tours by J-R and John. I have been honored to be of service to our community in this solely unique way.

The Travelers Tours were special for so many people.  If you have content that you would like to contribute (personal stories, photos, itineraries, etc.) please check out the Content Contribution page.
